Glaze Application Journal
A simple shared notebook for recording bottom-coat and top-coat glaze tests.
Adding a recipe
Enter a name and description, record the glaze, coat count, and application notes for each layer, then add fired-result notes and an optional fired photo. Public entries are sent to the moderator before appearing in the journal. Trusted contributors publish immediately.
Finding recipes
Search will look through recipe names, descriptions, glaze names, application notes, and fired-result notes. Show All will return the complete journal, ten entries at a time.
Entry actions
- Edit
- Load an existing recipe into the form and update it.
- Photo
- Open an attached application photo or select a fired-result thumbnail to view the full image in a new tab.
- Open a clean text-only recipe card in a new tab, then print or save it as a PDF.
- Delete
- Remove an entry after confirmation.
Shared storage
Unlike the earlier local test version, this application uses one SQLite database on the server. Everyone visiting the site will see the same public journal.
Trusted contributor access
If you have been given a contributor key, open Contributor access and enter it there. Trusted contributors can submit when public submissions are paused and do not enter the moderation queue.
CSV export
Use Export CSV above the journal entries to download all public recipe data as a spreadsheet-compatible file.
Backup and restore
The private administrator page can download one full backup ZIP containing every recipe and stored photo. A valid full backup can also restore the journal, with an automatic safety backup made first.
